I live in Visitacion the neighborhood south of Portal neighborhood (Mansell Avenue to Bayshore). That area in Visitation Valley is quite lovely and has some of the LOWEST crime rates in San Francisco with great views of the Easy Bay, Downtown, and San Bruno Mountain. (Yes, the area around Sunnydale Projects is higher crime, but that is quite a ways away from this part of VV.)

This neighborhood is majority Asian families who maintain their properties and are good neighbors.

I've lived in that neighborhood for 10 years.

Hi--San Francisco is a small city and a good agent who is watching all aspects of the market and has considerable experience (5+ years) is worth consulting. Above all, you should work with someone who proves to be professional, knowledgeable, works hard to market a home and is backed by a solid company with strong roots in the city.

I would be happy to chat with you; please visit my blog, Inside San Francisco Real Estate, if you'd like more info.

Of course you should talk to a few agents and do exactly what your doing now. Calling for submissions of names from agents who are actively responding to clients and the public are a good crew to chose from. One question you should ask prospective agents is how much they know about what is happening in Vis Valley. Do they know about Schlage and the other projects underway.

I too would be happy to talk to you about selling this property

Any Realtor can get those numbers for you. We can run it by size and room count. There are always differences from on eproperty to the next but a Realtor is your best bet.
