Here's my two cents, just from my personal experience. (Which of course, is probably biased). But when we were buying in 2011, I ran into and entertained the services of a number of realtors. I was amazed at how many failed at the simplest thing, like returning a phone call within a week! I finally met soeon that I thought was great...and he helped guide us to the perfect home. bent over backwards with every aspect of buying hte home (from recommending some excellent GC's and landscapers to educating us on various neighborhoods). In any case we settled on an REO property...put in our bid along iwth 10 others...and won the house based on bid guidance from our realtor...and the fact that of the three bids that tied for hte highest price, we were the only ones that filed the REO paperwork correctly.

In any case, his name is Tom Stravecky and he has an office in Wilton Manors. Sorry I don't have his personal contact info handy, but I'm sure you can just Google him as needed.

Thanks,...and good luck,
Ron Bennett

The only way to buy a Short Sale or Bank Owned Property is with cash. Cash will always accept a cash offer before someone taking a mortgage.

Some of the traditional sales are priced as good as a foreclosed home.

These are one of the most sought after types of properties which is good news for you. Lenders generally consider this type of loan safe because it is generating income and will sell fairly quickly if the need arises. Talk to Howard Sobel our mortgage advisor at Coldwell Banker in Hollywood at 954-347-0754. Tell him I sent you. Thanks
