Hi all,was just wondering if anyone can tell me how Camrillo is these days. I lived there 25 years ago,but I hear it's not safe to walk around the block at night. Let alone raise kids. Any info would be nice. Only if you live there.

You should look at the apartments next to The Collection shopping center in the Oxnard/Riverpark area. It is just one exit down from Ventura but has lots of things to do in walking distance. If you want to stay in Ventura then you want to look at midtown. East Ventura is residential/family areas. They are nice but they are quiet and they don't get the nice cool ocean breeze. ... more

Hi Caitlin,
Very few opportunities doing rent vs own. I have lenders that if you qualify that can get you into a purchase for as little as 1/2 percent down. Visit for more information or contact me direct.

Gain valuable insight into a community by looking at household incomes, crime risk, education levels attained, etc. Use the map to locate points of interest like shopping, restaurants, and healthcare services.
Enter your zip code, 93004, below to get started exploring your Market Insider ... You can easily compare 93004 to other nearby local zip codes, as well... Welcome to Ventura County :-)
I hope this helps!

Randall nailed it...

Go to and type in your desired address. Then, once that address comes up on the map, click on "Search nearby" which will be on the left side below the street view of the property. You can then find how close things are to this particular property - your bank, grocery stores, post office, gas stations, or even Starbucks!

Barry's way would work, but that would limit you to finding just a Starbucks. Google Maps is universal will keep you from going to each company's website.

(FYI, Starbucks is 3.8 miles and 7 minutes away from this address)

Let me know if you need help with anything else!

Best regards,

I believe you are looking for the name of the 'landlord/owner' for this Seneca Gardens condo. It would not be appropriate to blast this information in a public access portal, such as Trulia. Any local area real estate agent can access this information within a matter of minutes for this or any of the other 39 units in the complex. Make it a great day! ... more

Hi Patrick,
I wanted to look into housing and rental options for you. I think you may qualify for a Section 8 housing assitance. I have attached two websites for you to refer to. One will give you information about rentals and lead you to properties that are section 8 and affordable. The 2nd website is about homeownership. Personally, I do not handle rentals. But if you need any questions answered or resources please contact me.
HUD provides Section 8 rental vouchers
I hope this information helps you and your family. Take Care! Tami

Hello James,

Make sure you work with an agent that truly works land. Buying land is complex and is not for everyone. Buyers must do their due diligence and just this is quite a learning curve. Then there is far more work to do and things do change at times that affect a land purchase and build plan.

If this is for you, then enjoy the ride. If not, keep in mind some land is priced low right now and is a good buy and hold property for the portfolio, but you still have to perform lots of buyer's due diligence for any land purchase.

Best of luck from some one who has stood in lines at the county, bought vacant land and built.
