Bank has to send Notice of PreForeclosue, and if you or your husband dont respond to that they have to try to call you 3 different days at 3 different times and then they have to send a certified letter of the Notice of Pre-Foreclosure. This process usually takes 60 days. Then a Notice of Default goes out (NOD) - usually notice is taped to the front door. Then Notice of Sale is sent out. This will have the trustee's name on it and contact info.

You could contact a title company and ask to speak to customer service and have them look it up. Stewart Title 360-254-7892 is a good resource.

NW Justice is another non-profit that works with people in this matter.

Hope this helps.

there are many more questions to this opportunity

How Long have you owned the property
what kind of rate and terms do you have on it now
what are you planning on using the cash out for - to buy more property
cash flow projections on this and the next
do you own more than 4 residential properties that are financed
How is this property being depreciated

I am licensed in CA for home loans and would welcome the opportunity to talk this one out with you.
