i need to find the value of my home for refinancing . i checked zillow, but they had the information wrong re my home. how do i get an approx. value

Yeah, Zillow doesn't always have the most accurate information. That is why I always caution buyers or sellers from using it. The best thing to do would be to contact a Real Estate Agent in your area - maybe who helped you purchase the home. They can run a market analysis of the home to give you a general idea.

I'm always happy to do it for my past clients or friends or clients!

No lender will use Zillow or any other online source to value a house. You might as well throw a dart at numbers. An appraiser or Realtor is your best option, but the lender will decide.
