how do I find the number of homes in an area who have received notice of default?

I was asked on a bpo to go to trulia to get the number of notice of default..I don't see it anywhere on website.

Search the Harris County clerk of courts database for Lis Pendens filed within your desired timeframe (see the link below).

Hi Racer, not exactly what you're looking for, but if Trulia does not show anything yet, you may check with our local MLS http://( to see what foreclosures they have listed. Currently there is not an option to search for homes under default - that I know of anyway. (The link for the foreclosure search on HAR is alternatively you can view them on my website at - the same info is in both locations.) You can refine your search to the exact areas you are looking for.

Hi Racer,

Welcome to Trulia and thank you for your question. On Trulia's search results page you can use the filters on the left to specify that you only want to include foreclosure listings within your search results. Then you can use the More Search Options section further below to specify that you only want to include Notice of Default listings in your results. I've already run this search for you in Houston, but I'm afraid we don't seem to have any homes that match this description in that area, as you can see if you access the link below.
