Hi Karen,

Just to add to Karen's advice, if the tax record is wrong, it is imperative that the extra bedroom be "stressed" in the description of the listing.

After all marketing is the key to selling the property.

To whom is this question directed? If it's listed wrong on Trulia, you may need to contact your REALTOR and have it corrected in the MLS. OR, Trulia pulled the information from your county tax rolls. The tax rolls always have mistakes, which makes it difficult for any of us to have correct information, aside from your REALTOR doing all he or she can. Good luck.

Hi Karen,

If your home is listed for sale and we show this bedroom information at the top of the page then you should compare it with the information listed at the site we send users to for additional photos and details. That's the source of this information and once it's updated on that site Trulia's display should update automatically. If however the information is different from what is shown on that page then please report the problem to us via the link below.

If the information is listed under the Assessor Records portion of the listing details page then please note that the source of that information is your local county assessor's office and you should contact them to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about your home.

Best Wishes,
