You cannot do it yourself. Tell your agent about the site and they will be able to list it by following the instructions on the homepage.

Is your agent even on Trulia? If not, there is your problem...

You could post to postlets.com which will syndicate to Trulia or your agent could create and upload a feed directly to Trulia which can take a few weeks unless already feeding. Postlets.com is free and easy plus, they feed directly to Trulia.

If your agent signs up with listhub.net your home will be syndicated on Google Base, AOL Real Estate, Cyberhomes, Trulia, Homescape, MyREALTY, Zillow, Yahoo Real Estate, Vast, HotPads and Oodle.

Ditto on everyone's response. Keller Williams has its own listing service which automatically syndicates the listing to a wide number of search engines, which pretty much covers it. If your agent is with KW and it is not on Trulia, that means that person has not put it on the KW listing service-tsk tsk! If the agent is with a different broker, I cannot speak to that, except to say that the agent must not realize that the internet is the number one source for buyers. Hard to imagine that anyone in this business has missed that. I think someone mentioned the 800# gorilla in the room!

Good you are asking.

You can also post your home on http://www.austinhouse.net. You can search by neighborhoods schools. It's the only place you can search MLS and For sale by owners.

Dear Mike,
You can also post your home on http://www.Zillow.com and http://www.Graigslist.com. Only your agent can add it to Trulia. Good luck selling your home!

Dear Mike,
Your agent should be able to do this easily. If they do not use the internet to market your home, they are missing the boat. I post all my listings on every internet home search site. I just got one under contract (for full asking price) in four days after posting it on about 8 sites. I wish you the best of luck selling your home!

Dear Mike,
I hope your agent was able to get your home listed on Trulia. He/she should have posted it all over the web, there are a dozen sites to help you market your home. Any agent that does not use the web to advertise in this day and age is living in the dark ages. I hope it all worked out for you!
Sincerely,

I agree with Perry. The internet is the 800 pd gorilla in the room. How can any agent worth thier salt ignore the internet? That is crazy. So many people hire thier friends or thier neighbor. ( not saying that is what happened here) Like one of the other posts said. Listhub.net will syndicate the listings for FREE.
I pay the upgraded service charge. And there is another reporting mechianism that I get. Even so-- that is only 29.95 month.

I did hear rumor that in some areas Trulia is signing exclusive deals with some firms -- locking out other firms. That said-- listhub covers a lot of other sources.

If you had an agent who didn't put up a sign what would you do... Fire any agent that doesn't use trulia to develop leads to sell your home. It;s a major red flag that they don't understand web marketing 2.0.

Coldwell Banker agents also have a direct link to Trulia and many other websites when inputing the listing into the MLS. I suggest you ask your agent if he or she have this link.

I can't speak for other agents, but Keller Williams had an internal listing system that feeds directly into Trulia. It also feeds into over 100 other sites such as AOL, GoogleBase, Yahoo, Realtor.com etc.
