Why when I search for foreclosures I dont get any listings?

Asked by Robert Stevenson, Placida, FL Thu Feb 14, 2008

All that comes up are blind and not up to date leads for a pay service. Realty trac is not providing listing only marketing for their pay site. Why not put these adds seperate and allow the public to search for listings and find them.

There are many free sites that will allow for you to search foreclosures. If you would like to search for foreclosures in Northern Virginia or other areas go to http://www.greetingsvirginia.com/. Remember that you may not be getting the best deal by buying a bank owned property. Often they are in disrepair and may not be a bargain. Your Realtor can help to sort this out. Good luck!

Hi Robert,

Please be aware that you can easily filter out foreclosure listings from your Trulia search results. Once you've performed your search and your results load, find our Listing Type filter on the left side of the page and select only Resale and/or New Homes.

Happy Searching,

Around here there are several agents that allow the public to search the entire MLS on that agents webste for free. This includes the foreclosured homes. Look at all of them and decide which is the best property for you! Don't be fooled into limiting your search to only foreclosures!
