Where does Trulia get its information from? Trulia reports homes that are "for sale". Are these MLS listed homes or homes listed only on?

Hi Tom,

The listings on Trulia come to us from real estate brokers who send us data feeds of their listings, real estate agents who directly submit their listings to Trulia, as well as participating Multiple Listing Services and Web site vendors. Trulia's listing information is updated daily and new listings are constantly being added to the site.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, or if you have any feedback you'd like to share with us.

Best Wishes,

I have not been able to get trulia to remove photos from days gone by of the inside of a unit I bought. The unit IS NOT for sale, yet they display it as such with photos from a former owner. They have not removed this erroneous information.

Usually MLS listed homes. Sometimes as a direct feed from the MLS and sometimes fed from a different source. Trulia is a great source but the best source remains to be a local agent who can set you up on a direct feed from the MLS.
