Is the Average listing price in Tulia's real estate guide accurate? Where can I find averages for homes sold?

Looking for Data concerning averages of homes prices for the city of Austin. Any data and the more the better.

Try trulia and zillow. They aren't exactly right but it starts the process..

The first thing to do is contact a top real estate professional.Ask for a comparable market analysis(CMA) Next thing is to check public records in the county office in Austin.The next step is to get an appraisal of the target property. The last thing to do is contact will provide you with a free CMA which will be prepared by a licensed real estate professional.

You need a good real estate agent. Trulia and other websites cannot report good numbers as Texas is a non-disclosure state.

The information is from public record so it should be very accurate, however, it might not have the most recent sales. The best bet is to contact a Realtor who can process the information as a market analysis to provide more detailed information such as total days on the market & listing history. If you do not have a local Realtor, I would be more than happy to find one who can provide you with as much information as possible.
