How can I get an un-authorized source from posting our listings on and stealing our traffic?

Asked by Vincent, Charlotte, NC Wed Jan 21, 2009

We have have over 1200 active listings and an agreement with to submit all our listings. The property detail link is supposed to be which would route the listing inquiry straight to the listing agent. Instead it goes to which we don't own and have never specified....even though on the property listing it says it is going to

When I search for 5419 Addison, Charlotte, NC, I get this page:…

When I click for more info, it takes me here:

Email support is frustrating. It took them almost a month to respond and they told me that my company doesn't currently submit listings (even though I've found everyone of the 1200 that I've searched for) and/or this is's issue. is sending the feed. Trulia is taking someone else's instead.

Hi Vincent,

Our team has discovered that this listing is being duplicated on our site and we actually do show the listing information as submitted to us from at the link below. The other version of the listing that you cited above should be removed from our display within approximately 24 hours when our site data is refreshed.

If you can send us a list of some of the other listings that you've found in a similar condition, we'll check on those to see if this same error is causing those problems. You can post that information here or you can send it to me via my profile.

Thank you for your help!

I don't know the answer to this. My listings point to me as I pay extra on Trulia. I hope that this can get fixed soon. Good luck!

Hi Vincent,

Thank you for reaching out to us on Trulia Voices. I'm terribly sorry that this problem has yet to be fixed and I've requested that our Customer Service Team revisit the issue. You should hear from one of my colleagues very soon either via email or here on this thread.

Thank you for your patience.

Best Wishes,

Our mls pushes to yours? If so, perhaps in that push is where the rerouting is taking place. Good luck!
