Feature Request: Stop email alerts after 1 week

Asked by Steve Belt, Scottsdale, AZ Sun Jun 8, 2008

When I answer a question in Trulia Voices I usually subscribe to follow-up email alerts. I do this primarily to see if the original poster has any follow-up. If they do (which is sadly rare), that will usually occur within the day, maybe the next day. By the third day, I've almost never seen an original poster follow-up.

Pros however, always trying to be helpful, follow-up with questions asked months and months ago. I honestly could care less, and would like my subscription to all follow-ups suspended after 1 week. Can this be made possible?

Hi Steve,

This is a great suggestion and I'll be sure to share it with the rest of the Trulia team.

Thank you,

Trulia is very busy putting new features and covering other grounds, I dont' thik it has the feature to allow you to set a time limit on how long you want to receive your email alerts. .

I personally turn everything off, just go back to my profile periodically and see if anything of interest shows up. The most recent answer I made are the questions i am most interested in anyway.

The other option is to click on the email and unsubscribe on the emails for that specific question. I do that often also.

You have to find the best system that works for you.
