Enhancement Request - Mouse over PICTURE in list mode should pop up a larger picture!

Asked by Don Schueler, 29910 Sun Feb 22, 2009

I really like using Trulia from a buyers perspective...much more than realtor.com etc. but I need ONE thing more!
When looking at a LIST of homes that met my criteria, I would love to be able to mouse over the picture and have it pop up magnified. Usually I can tell if I am interested in drilling down further by that one picture. I hate having to drill down, look around than go back to the list as a buyer. It would be much more effective with that mouse over magnify for the main picture!! Keep up the good work!!!

Emily..fyi, I know about the view larger and that is good, but I don't want to leave the list..

for example, I am on the list noted below and while in the list when I mouse over the pic a javascript popup of a larger pic is what I am thinking....

Hi Don,

Thanks so much for a great suggestion. This is great feedback. I do want to point out however that when we do have larger listing photos available, we do display them. It's not as simple as a mouse-over but almost. If you take a look at the listing below as an example, you'll see a link under the main photo that you can click to 'View larger photos'. This link will bring you to a new page where you can see larger versions of all the photos that are available.

Keep your eye out for this link when you search. It's not on every detail page, but we're reaching out to our listing sources for more and larger photos so you should start seeing it more often.

I hope this is helpful. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any more feedback.

Best Wishes,
