If you work with an agent, they can find home sales data from the MLS( multiple listing system) going back to the 1980 s. Agents are able to search via an archived information program. Agents also have excellent tools to provide various current and historic market trends, statistics , average, median sales broken down by community, neighborhoods and home description I.e. number of bedrooms, style, etc.
Real estate agent provide invaluable knowledge in the selling and buying process

Hi Joltingjoe,

We have over 10 years of historical transaction information available on Trulia, but you won't find all previous sales within our search results for recently sold homes. If you're looking for information about older sales, you can see that information aggregated in our Stats & Trends section at the link below, or you can search for information about individual homes if you search by address.

I hope this helps you. Please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback for us.

Best Wishes,
