Did Trulia finally crack down on agents making blog pieces to advertise (spam) their open houses? There weren't any this weekend, but it was the 4th.

I've tried, but they do nothing about it other than respond.

"Hi Kary,

Thank you for the information. I have reported all of these posts for our moderators .

Sincerely,"

Nothing ever gets done to stop it.

Unfortunately, I believe it's mostly up to us agents to police ourselves and report abuses when we see them.

Well, they started back up again, so I guess Trulia isn't cracking down on spamming.

It was a real PITA back when I got emails about every new blog piece. Since I turned those off it's just a minor annoyance. But really, I can't think of a more ineffective way to advertise an open house or new listing.

Interesting. I know that Trulia has employees monitor their site in order to catch these types of issues. Hopefully, they'll catch these too.
