FHA usually requires 3.5% down. If down payment is an issue, the Ohio Housing Finance Agency has down payment assistance program for first time home buyers, of 2.5%, so if you qualify you could get financed FHA with just 1% down. There are some properties out in rural areas that may qualify for USDA loans that require 0% down, or if you've served in the military and qualify for a VA loan, that also requires 0% down.
I know lenders you could talk to in detail about the specifics of everything.

I am aware of the specs on down-payment for FHA and the down-payment assistance program. I just wanted to know if there was any other programs/assistance/ect for first time home-buyers. Just want to make sure I am making the best decision.
