Are we allowed to have any fun at all on this site?

Asked by Jim Walker, Carmichael, CA Fri Jul 27, 2007

It has been asked if I have violated the Trulia Voices Community Guidelines. Since the first time I read them I took two seconds, I decided to spend a little more time with them. We all should. Trulia has lots of rules. Several of the do nots relate to promoting one's own personal website, and trolling for customers on the site, some of us do that, I haven't, but I may be no lo contendre (oops English only) that means "No contest" about a few other rules. -- Do Not rules 1m and 1n ban the several spirited posted questions about pricing brokerage services, and whether the subject can be discussed legally. Do Not # 1h. says we can't vent our frustrations, rant, make statements, or other wise violate the question and answer format...
So can we still have fun?.. well, yeah, maybe, the kind of fun you have when playing chess or checkers, structured fun. I intend to continue to post. i find it a challenge to stretch the envelope without breaking it and to be a contrarion.

I think a little fun is fine. Tossing insults is not. But, I will have to go back and reread the "Trulia Voices Community Guidelines” to be sure. I, too, was very lackadaisical and skimmed them for, oh, a millisecond? So, before I go and read them and get kicked off (and I feel a little safe since this thread hasn't seemed to spark any interest); I am going to have a lot of fun, I quote you:

"I find it a challenge to stretch the envelope without breaking it and to be a contrarian."

If you weren't married I'd ask for a date! OOPS! where are the trulia police?

I think reading the questions and answers are fun. Then again, I think doing laundry and painting my house is fun so I may not be the best person to answer.

Basically Jim, I think it's saying that we need to play nice in the sandbox.
