Dear Matt,
Yes, most homes in Upper Saddle River are septic. There are some that border other towns, such as Montvale, where they are able to access public utilities. I would like to mention, the home you were specifically asking about at 87 Hampshire Hill is in the terrific Anona Park area of Upper Saddle River. Additionally, an offer has been accepted and they are in Attorney Review. Please contact me directly if I can be of assistance navigating this northern Bergen County area. 201-236-1174

This home is can basically be called a knock down or total gut job. It does have a basement that is finished with grade level access, but again, it would most likely have to be totally redone.
In many instances such as this one, I would take a look at the house and contact the buidling dept of USR to find out any information that may not be known regarding the house. It has been vacant for at least three years that I can see and who knows what has happened in that time.

Contact me if you have any interest and we can take a look at the property.

I had a client for this same house I know that they withdrew it because the builder himself moved in due to the fact that property remained on the market for a long time and they were not able to reduce price any more! I may be able to follow up on this since I had another client whom was interested but then backed out! Feel free to send me an e-mail if you would like to get more info on this house I have a contact for the builder. ... more
