Ash:

I'm confused ... in one series of posts you are asking questions about the condo on Village that you are buying - it went pending yesterday - and here you are inferring you already own the unit and are wondering how much rent you can get.

There are a lot of questions to be answered BEFORE you can be determining rent – question #1 is, “Does the development allow rentals over a certain owner/occupant percentage and has that percentage been reached?” This would have been a great question for your Realtor to have answered for you BEFORE you wrote and offer and had it accepted. As Dawn suggested, Craigslist is one way to determine a fair rental amount. You can also contact property managers in the area to see what they rent it out for.

But first, you need to know what the CC&Rs for the complex have to say. Your Realtor can get those for you.
