It is in your best interest to call a LOCAL Realtor, or LOCAL Appraiser or local lender for a mortgage loan or refinancing. Since your property is located in Tyrone - Tyrone properties should be your comparable. Properties that have sold in the past 6 months in Tyrone. Some properties have sold for a really low price due to foreclosure, sold to a relative, etc. - the wrong comps will bring your property lower than market value - you need to find someone local that knows the area and will take the time to call the selling agent to get all information and details of the comparable properties that have sold before pricing your property. You could have an older 5 bedroom home that has been total renovated or a 5 bedroom home that needs totally updated. Someone needs to actually look at the condition of your home, location, etc., to get the right price for an appraisal. ... more
