But as she says, realtors are prohibited from steering buyers to certain neighborhoods (to protect themselves from lawsuits i think). I'm sure you know that the Tucson sheriff dept has a crime map online, but what you wanted was an impression by a local. The crime map will show shoplifting, larceny, assault, traffic violations, etc. because there are a number of stores on St. Mary's, and a lot of traffic. When you go shopping there, often homeless people (or fakers) will beg for your money for various "reasons." Many home owners put security bars on their windows, and deter burglaries. There are a couple of good Mexican food places there, and a very good veterinarian. I think you will avoid violent crimes if you don't hang out at night outdoors and do not provoke criminals.
