You will have to research this yourself. Realtors cannot give opinions on neighborhood safety because it violates Fair Housing laws. Best method - visit the local police departments, ring doorbells of nearby residents and ask them, etc. There are websites that provide crime statistics but it is not 100% accurate. ... more

I'm sorry it does not allow for sale by owner listings. If you search online, you will find other avenues to try.

Trulia does have access to many wonderful agents who can help you get the very best price in the shortest time for your home, however. If you have tried selling on your own and not been successful, please go to the agent directory on Trulia and select an agent with excellent reviews who works in your zipcode.

Good luck, and I hope you are successful!

UpNest Top Realtors answered:
Hello,

You actually can't list on Trulia as for sale by owner. You would have to pay for what is known as a flat-fee listing service to be on Trulia. Zillow is more FSBO friendly, though. Before choosing for sale by owner, you should interview multiple agents first.

For sale by owner can seem like a big money saver, but usually the work of a top performing agent will give you the most money for your home.

We created our service to streamline the process of interviewing and negotiating with agents. We help connect home sellers with top performing agents that compete against other agents for your listing. Because agents know they are competing, they bring out their best services and rates, sometimes lowering commission, which can help you get the most money possible for your home.

No matter what you choose to do, we hope you have a great selling experience!

Best of luck!

Hello,

We are pleased that you have an interest in our house, our lovely home is still available for Sale/lease and we want responsible adults/family that are neat and also believe that you have what it takes to take care of our house as if it were Yours. The main reason our house is up for Sale/lease is because I got transferred from my church to (North Carolina) on a Missionary Work by my church here and I don't think I will be coming back to occupy my house. We will be very pleased if we can find the right potential Buyer/Tenant to take over our home, a person who is a clean & responsible and does not tolerate anything that has to do with dirt. we also would like to know more about you and your family, your renting experience and how long and when you plan moving into our home. Don't be surprise if you find the home with another site and deference price, I have plan to rent it through Real estate before, but they are not serious simply because they have a lot of house to lease out and they added some money to the rent while there commission is not fair. Have this in mind you must know the kind of person that I'm nevertheless I am giving you this rules because of what corresponded between me and my last tenant. the keys and documents are with us here in North Carolina... So I will need to ship them to you before you can occupy the house But you can drive by the house anytime to take a look at the area and surrounding, You can also peek through the windows if you don't mind. For now we are looking for 4 or 5 years lease or rather lets us know how long you wish to stay. The home is available for long term and short term lease. The rent includes all utilities and close to all amenities. The place is available for immediate move in. INCLUDED IN THE RENT: Light, Cable, Kitchen completely equipped, Kettle - Toaster - Dishwasher - Freezer - Microwave - Oven - Dryer - Heat - Water - Washing Machine and Electric.

Contact a Realtor. Preferably one that has been recommended to you from friends, family, or co-workers. We Realtors have access to the Multiple Listing Service and tax records. You can also access the tax records from the PIma County Assessors Office's website. These records are not always current but they are a good source of information. Let me know if you would like a comparable market analysis for your neighborhood.

Hi, Kathy!
I actually live on the street since 1992. I knew one of the neighbors who actually knew the owners. The owners live in Phoneix. and the house has been abandoned 25+ years at least! The "story" as far as i know is this: The owners of the house had a girl in high school (and I believe a couple of other children). One day she ditched school with a couple of friends and went up the Sabino canyon where she acciendtly drowned. Rumor has it that the parents were so upset that they just left everything they had in the house and moved. Now I remember when i was younger always venturing around the house and there is all the furniture and what not still inside. The owners come down about every 6 months to mow the lawn check up on the place. But it's getting to the point where they are getting older and its becoming more difficult for them to travel (they have to be in their late 60's to mid 70's). A couple of neighbors said they were finally considering selling the place, but it wouldn't be worth hardly anything. That house has to be torn down and rebuilt; its too old, not kept up and probably has extensive terminite damage. Every now and again we have teenagers come around and try to peek and break in the house because its "haunted" (we call it the Huanted House). But all the neighbors do a really good job of keeping an eye out . Either we tell them to leave or just call the cops. The neighbor hood in itself is really good. never had any big problems and you soon learn just to ignore the old house. I hope this helps a little! You should move on the street, you wont regret it! ... more
