Normally the requirements for most banks are 4 years conventional and 3 years FHA. If your loan is with Fannie Mae and your last loan on the CT property was before June 2009 you will get some help. Coming up on Nov. 18, 2013 Fannie Mae is updating their underwriting guidelines to reduce to standard waiting period minimum to re-establish credit due to a major derogatory (BK, foreclosure, Short Sale, etc...)

Many Loan Officers/Brokers don't even know about this yet. Stick with a Pro and VIP and you will not go wrong.
