You just have a predetermined exclusive right to buy the house. We know that the rental market in the area is very tight. Affordable housing is a concern. Hi Katie, Someone dropped the ball here somewhere. Call your lender or have your Realtor call the lender. Lenders don't want upset Realtors just as much as their buyers. We talk and let all the other Realtors know what's going on in our area. Your Realtor may have a little more pull due to the fact we work with these lenders on a day to day basis. Good Luck! ... more
