Because of Fair Housing Laws, we can't answer that question. -- However, I always recommend that you visit the area on your own and see if it fits your needs. -- For example, if you will be getting home on the EL around 6:00pm, go there at that time to see if you feel safe. -- Most EL stops have added security these days, however, you should always practice safe habits wherever you travel. -- To learn more, just call me at 847-533-7115 or email MeyersRealty1@gmail.com. Thanks, John

I recommend my clients research areas and start with the Chicago Police site for crime stats:

Really? Bucktown makes you nervous?

The perception of safety is such a personal issue. Everyone needs to gauge it for themselves. An out-of-towner should probably avoid public trans altogether.

check crime stats on the CPD website for the best information regarding "safety" - also, walk the area at night yourself

O'hare line. That's what we used to call it. They call it the Blue line now. Yes, we cannot comment about the safety of certain areas or we can get in trouble. We don't want that. I will say, I have been at that stop many times. There is a really good pancake place right down the street from there. And more pseudo hipsters in the area you can count! And lots of pseudo hipster bars and restaurants as well. I think I can say that.
