Most routes pass through downtown at the southern tip of Manhattan, without knowing exactly where you are commuting from I can tell you that the E is across from the most western part of Battery Park City at world trade center, and on the eastern side of BPC you have the 4,5, @ Bowling Green and also the R & 1 at Rector St. Try Hopstop.com or the NYC subway map links for additional info... Yhere are also a number of bus lines the M22 runs directly into BPC !
