If you are in the Windsor corridor off of RT460, I would plan on about 40-45 minutes to downtown Norfolk. I lived/worked in the Windsor/Franklin/Smithfield area for many years and would always allow an hour, just in case. The good news is: You would be dealing with the Berkely Bridge, but not necessarily any of the tunnels. The quality of life in those areas is so good though, it's well worth the drive, no matter where you're going! If you've yet to locate your country home, let me know! I adore the area and know it well!
