Hi Marvin - How are you??

I see you are new to Trulia........... just so you know - this question was asked over a year ago (look under the question for the date asked, and under responses, for their dates, too)...................hopefully, by now Pratt Farmer is already a resident of Parsippany!!

Take care

There are many choices from Parsippany. I live in a comuter community called Hunting Ridge.
The lakeland bus goes to midtown in about an hour. Downtown in about an hour and twenty.
Midtown direct train from Towaco station is about an hour with stops.
Many Parsippany residents drive to Willowbrook or Harrison and take the express bus or Path.
A few even drive daily to Hoboken and take the ferry!
Any way Parsippany is a great centrally located communtiy with good schools, and quality of life.
Good luck in your search, Marvin Crane

The answer to your question is Yes.. It is quite a drive. But it is possible. I actually did a reverse commute for about a year from the NYC area to the vacinity of Parsippany.
