House hunting in Kissimmee

Asked by Ama, UK Fri Dec 28, 2007

I intend to go house hunting in Kissimmee but I do not drive. How practical is it for me to use public transport or do I need to hire a driver.

Public transport in Kissimmee is limited to the main highways. Taxis will be the only option, but that gets expensive. My suggestion is you narrow the area by establishing the characteristics that you must have for the homes and for the communities. Then let an expert of the area do the preliminary work for you.

If you like, I could e-mail you information based on your dream homes criteria, and communities that met your needs (assuming transportation is an important one). You can do all the preliminary work from your living room. When the final few are selected I will provide you with turn by turn directions, or you may elect to allow me to personally show you the homes. Feel free to e-mail me.

Unfortunately, you need to hire a driver. We do not have much public transportation in Central Florida.

Hello Ama,

I agree with Antonio.
In the states, Realtors can show you any home that is on the market for sale. Please send me an e-mail with your Holiday home requirements. This way we can narrow down your list together before you fly over to this side of the pond. If you would like, I can also send you a purchase outline that has information on how the buying process works in the states and what is required.
