I live across the street, very good for public transportation, 67 and 19 buses 1/2 block away, 59 bus 1 block away, R bus and 8 and 24 buses 2 blocks away, 10 minute walk to Frankford terminal where the El or elevated trains (like subway but above ground) take you downtown to center city and the Broad St, subway, and the commuter trains that go to the suburbs. Also the terminal is where many other bus routes begin and you are also about one and one half blocks from the Roosevelt Blvd. (Rt. 1) which is a major 12-lane highway. I myself moved here because I inherited a house and am glad there are so many connections because I do not have a car at present.

The easiest way to figure out what public transit is in the area is to visit Septa's website. From there you can even plan a route and Septa will tell you what buses/trains are available and how long each option will take.
