Torrance Unified has a unique website that allows you to plug in the property address and see which schools are the 'home school" for that location. I have attached the link below.

You should, however know, that once a school fills up - even if it is the "home school" - the school district will offer an alternative school. On the other hand, if you child has been attending a different school and you move, the school district is quite liberal in allowing them to continue to attend their original school. It is a case-by-case basis, so please speak with the appropriate people at the school district before you make your move.

Hope this is helpful.

Marcia Downs answered:
Hi Joseph,

My daughter graduated from Jefferson Middle School last June and is now attending West High School.
Her experience was wonderful, the teachers were very supportive and the PTA is very involved.
Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions about the area. I, myself, grew up in this area, called Southwood, and attended Jefferson and West High.

Michael Magaw, Broker, Torrance, CA There are four high schools in Torrance (South, West, North, Torrance). If you are only interested in Torrance HS, then it would be better to use boundries. As Bruce mentioned 90503 is split between two high schools. Also 90501 is split between two school disctricts (LAUSD & TUSD).
Here is the Torrance HS website.
If you have a specific address that you want to check, you should confirm it with the school.
