Hello Laceyhalstead, why rent if you could own and pay less than rent in TX. You should study RENT vs BUY listings to compare payments.

The rentals in Tomball start from $690 for 1bd 1ba apt but no horses. I did not find rentals with horse boarding space. The purchase in Tomball start from 349k for 2bd 1ba single family ranch home on 5.58 acres.

You may qualify to buy FHA 3.5% down from a minimum 580 fico score and 3% down conventional from a minimum 620 fico score. Your scores can be raised within 3-4 days in most cases to qualify for programs, rates and terms as necessary. Check out the web reference link below.

Brenda Richards asked:
It's obvious that some of these listings are scams, i.e., $800 for a 4-2-2 in a neighborhood where average rent is $1200-$1500.

It all depends... each home is owned by an individual so I would recommend you write an honest and sincere letter of explanation with what happened and the actions you have taken to ensure it will not happen again. Everybody has setbacks and there is most likely somebody who will give you a chance if you can show that you deserve one.

Hope this helps.

I would say no more than two months out.
You would not want to find something you really like to soon because most landlords are not going to hold a house past 30 days of the vacancy date.
I hope this helps in making your decision.

All too often, the professional services we require are not available after 5:00 p.m., or on weekends. To compound our frustration, frequently someone we have never met delivers these services in an impersonal, disinterested manner.

I do not adhere to these practices! Instead, I enjoy building relationships with my clients, and I know those relationships are the key to my clients' success and satisfaction.

Purchasing real estate can be a stressful process, and guiding you through that entire process is a responsibility I take very seriously.

If you have any questions about the real estate options we've discussed, please feel free to give me a call at 713-397-5891 or email me at thehomeguy@icloud.com. As I stated previously, I am available when you need me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hope to hear from you soon!
