You should assume all rental listings here are scams. Report them. Find the link on the page named MORE, under it is a drop down menu with FLAG - click it. I would be a majority of rentals on this site are scams. Never Ever send money = those are scams.Never Ever send money = those are scams. ... more

I would have you call a Realtor or a property management company. 700 should get you a decent place.

Shane Corbett answered:
Hi Chris,

I'm sorry to hear that you would have to deal with something like this. As a landlord myself, it's hard to predict what people dispose of, what they may dispose of and where they may dispose of it. I have had to pick up the same items around my property. My suggestion to you would be to contact the local police and request increase patrols in your neighborhood for potential drug and prostitution activity and ask that your landlord do the same. I would also request your landlord to install security lights to deter this activity. I would also suggest that since you have made your landlord aware of your concerns, to document the items found by taking pictures and noting the date and time you found these items and when you notify your landlord of these items. This is so if you ultimatly decide to move over this, you have some evidence as to your concern for the health and safety of yourself and your son. Because simply if you break the lease, that in itself is no legal reason to keep your deposit and the landlord has 30 days to put in wiriting as to the status of your deposit, but only if you provide a forwarding address. Also, if the landlord said he never asked you to pick these things up, I'd call everytime I found something and tell him to get over there and pick that stuff up ! I hope this answers your question and I can be contacted at for further info. Thanks. ... more

I would suggest you try the regular rental sites: (Rentals Section) (Rentals Section) (Rentals Section)

Between all of those, you will get a very clear picture if you can find what you are looking for. Good luck!

At no time in ohio weather a lease s up or not may a landlord walk into a house or apt unanounced.
He/She must give you 24 hour notice and have a legal reason to be there and that is for maintence
reasons also. And for the elbow to your husband face that leads to an assault charge against him/her.
The only other way is if he has an court ordered eviction.
