Hi Patricia,
You can walk many places if you really needed to. If you don't mind the 20-30 minute walk at a moderate pace, then sure you could. But with Chicago weather, do you really want to deal with that? When its cold, its COLD. When its HOT, good luck, and when it rains, you might as well be singin in the rain. Because it'll be comin' down.

Happy House Hunting :)

These are really nice townhomes. It is very close to the train. Bike - yes - quick drive - under 5 minutes - yes.

Could you walk - yes - but it is not super close - maybe a 15-20 minute walk. This townhome is near the corner of 183rd and Oak Park Avenue. The train is at Oak Park Avenue and about 174/175th. So it is about 8-9 blocks.

Definately worth a drive by to see if you think you could walk it in all kinds of weather. I have known people to bike this everyday though.

If you have any questions or want to see any homes, please feel free to ask.
