11688 SW Errol St, Tigard, OR 97223 appears to no longer be active on Trulia, Tindell & Company does not have this property in our portfolio, our website is tindellandcompany.com if your interested in viewing our available rentals. Often times if rents are lower then market and the owner is asking for monies prior to meeting you or showing you the home it is a good indication that it is a scam. Be careful not to release personal information or money unless you've met someone at the property and determined they are either the owner or representing the owner. ... more

The dash only means that the advertiser didn't answer that question. Therefore, to verify whether or not they'll accept a pet, you'll need to contact the advertiser. In this case, Alan Boyer, 503-781-8753.

Best of luck.

Dave Sutton answered:
Hi Tanya,

Scroll down your listing a little and you'll find a place to click on "Contact the Property".

But I have two questions for you:

1) Why is that rent so low? I'd have expected at least $1100, so there may be a reason it's below market rent. Of course that reason may not be important to you and you may have found a bargain, but be careful. Also pay attention to Trulia's warning about wiring money to people who are "traveling". Most of those are scams.

2) Why are you renting when you could buy? An $850 payment should buy you something in the $150,000 range or more. Before you rent, talk with a mortgage broker or officer. No charge and it will take you about 15 minutes. If you need names, let me know and I will give you two good lenders names.

It seems the information from the listing agent wasn't taken off of Trulia when the property sold. We see that quite a bit, and it's a shame for quite a few reasons. Your query is a perfect example. You found a home on your own, wanted more information, and the information posted to the general public was invalid. Happens all too often.

If you're not working with an agent, ask yourself "why not?" Agents have current, up-to-the-minute status information on property, and you won't have to waste your time trying to figure it all out.

Incidentally, think about engaging the services of an EBA . . . Exclusive Buyer Agent. They are the best form of BUYER represenation available.

HLR answered:
The bank (Wells Fargo) still owns it, address is 9750 SW Pihas St, Tigard, and it's not yet listed, so I am thinking they are having appraisals and BPO done on it to estimate the value to list. As it transferred to the bank back in May, it should be listed any time now. Most likely there is an agent's sign already on the property to contact. They are assigned to take care of it before it is listed for sale. Good luck. ... more

Hi Brett-
This home is a bank owned property. Typically these are as is sales and the bank will not want to hear the results of any inspections. It is listed as a fixer, so I am sure there are issues.

If you are seriously interested in the property, let me know and I can do some more research for you.
Kindly, Cathy
