While I am pretty sure that you have priority if you live within the boundaries of the school, the rest would be admitted by a lottery.

The Old Meadows neighborhood would most likely be in the boundaries as it MATES was this neighborhood's homeschool before it became a Charter School. The Conejo Oaks neighborhood is also in that same category. ... more

There are also Charter Schools. Bridges and MATES come to mind. I have children in Elementary, Middle and High school in SImi and Thousand Oaks. Colina Middle School is a good school. I know a teacher at the school that goes the extract mile to help her students learn. It is on E. Hillcrest Dr, that does get busy at times. In the afternoon after school there are girls softball teams practicing during the Softball season. Hopes this information help you. ... more
