I would say that is a legal question, he certainly can not make it hard for you to live there. I would say no the landlord may not do that, but also in CA he can have you out in 30 days. contact a lawyer for a better answer.

I would talk to him or her as it does not sound like your landlord is entirely unreasonable more of passive aggressive type.

Keep in mind that square footage costs do vary, and don't account for exact location and other considerations; therefore, it's really in your best interest to also review closed recently sold similar properties in the immediate area, and their final sales price... ... more

This is very specific question, you should try to ask the owner or listing broker (if any) of the property.

Hi, Tom. Renters look for 2-3 bedrooms. If two good should be on opposite ends of the home. Nice kitchen. West of Hwy One. Ocean view and easy access to beach. Property will be rented 30-40 % of the time and it should reduce your cost of owning your home by the same percentages. Rule of thumb. Each property could produce different results.
Most of the wind comes in the spring time and that out of the NW. Winds out of the South bring winter storms. Mitigating the NW winds would be of importance especially if you lived here full time.
We can talk more about the area when you folks get up here on the 24th.

Hi, my home is the one listed at 35351 Crows Nest, and our square foot price comes to just over $302. You may not see the ocean from our home but we consider the surrounding redwoods a "view" nonetheless; and living just a bit away from the ocean has HUGE benefits relative to wind, exterior maintenance and privacy. Many people who first buy homes on the west side of Hwy 1 eventually migrate to the east side of the highway. You have easy access to all the amenities of Sea Ranch, away from the fog, wind, and tourist traffic.

The square foot prices you see for homes currently listed are quite realistic, as the cost of building in this area is quite high. Believe me, as one who has lived here full time, built one house and remodeled this current one, you cannot build a home (at least with the quality ours has) for less than the square foot price you're balking at. We certainly have put a great deal more money into this home than we are asking for in selling it in the current market.... sigh!

If you're in the area, please check out our open house Saturday May 25. You may find the interior view and comfort you'll live with on a day to day basis is a great exchange for what you glimpse at from the windows of a "view home!"

Cathy Bureau answered:
Listings automatically expire, we have no control over that. If we re-list it we can change the expiration date. I'm not sure why that's something a seller's agent should or would want. We don't make money until it sells.

Hi Steve,

Jenet is correct, the best way to get a quick response is to ask customer support. I have included a link below.

If you are feeding a listing from Postlets, make sure you update it frequently. Even just adding a comma or period to the description will register a change and cause it to refresh.
