The sale of your home is in the public records. You might be able to remove it from Trulia, but there are several other public web sites that utilize public records. Basicity it is a feed from the SLO county web site.

I am not sure If it is possible, but to start, you could contact the SLO County recorder and ask how you can remove your home from the public records. If you have any luck, I would be interested in your results.

Good Luck :)

The home you are referring to is not in foreclosure, it only has a notice of default, which can be filed when one payment is missed. Since the loan amount indicated is only $197,000, it is possible, but not likely it will be foreclosed on. The internet company RealtyTrack that is marketing the default home is a fee base service, which would like you to pay to receive more information. I can provide Information on foreclosed homes for Free.

If you are looking for a list of available homes, I have all of the homes in Templeton and the Central Coast listed on my web site at http://www.dnorwood.com/TEMPELTON.aspx . Please give me a call if you would like to see any of the homes available and I will be happy to show them to you.

Seeking 93465 Home answered:
Sorry, for the confusion. What I intended to ask was, why are the asking prices of many listed foreclosed houses substantially higher than the amount owed on them?

Hello Lonny,

I would be happy to show this home to you. Are you currently working with a real estate agent. If not, I can look for similar homes that may meet your criteria and show you more than one home when you are available. Please let me know if this would interest you.

Sincerely,

Gillian,

As the agent previously stated there is no "final asking price" until the property has been sold and a price agreed on by both the buyer and seller.

However....to get an idea of what the home is likely to sell for you should research what comparable homes in that area have sold for and base a solid offer from there.

That is if you're interested in making that house your new home!

Feel free to contact me with any questions. Hope this helps.
