They start on the internet with a Google, Yahoo or Realtor.com search and then move forward with individual companies and agent sites. Once connected with an agent the can get set up with a MLS site search.

#1 Realtor.com.....then other sights like Yahoo, Google, Trulia, Zillow and other search engines. I'd be surprised if many use your website directly compared to the big traffic sites mentioned. That doesn't mean you shouldn't have a website and try to make it sticky. It just means you'll never have the money or traffic it generates to build a brand as an individual salesperson vs someone like Google. This is a huge mistake most agents make.

Hi David: I think Realtor.com is the most popular site. It has every listing, as they are drawn right from MLS and it is very user friendly. I think that trulia is definitely up and coming though.
