is there a way to search all the homes that sold for 3 million dollars or more in the last year?

You can try to search ACRIS (the New York City tax site -- google ACRIS) but it's going to be tough.

For one thing, you're talking about a lot of properties -- there are currently around 500 listings in Manhattan that are at or above that price on the market now.

If you have more specific criteria -- say you want to know what sold at that price point in your neighborhood, so you know how to value your home -- you can contact me and I'll run a search for you.

In what area? If NYC, it will probably have to go through public records...

Most other area Realtor Boards are pretty accessible by any Realtor. If you need something in Queens or Long Island, I can arrange it for you...Long Island Board of Realtors. Brooklyn has their own board (although LIBOR does carry a lot of Brooklyn listings).

If you have a Realor, have them do this for you through an MLS. Should take all of 10 seconds.

If you don't, you may have to rely on public records. Check to see if your community allows you to search public records on line. If not, a trip to town hall and a small fee should get you there.
