What is the fiber-optic broadband like in Mountain House?

Asked by Timothy Hatcher, San Jose, CA Mon Jan 21, 2008

The mountainhouse.net site says there is fiber-optic broadband in all houses. What are the fees associated with this? Does that that include TV service?

With fiber, It is not a big deal now. I think my AT&T DSL is more reliable compare to my copper DSL in San Jose. The big different would be interactive TV when AT&T rollout Uverse in 2008.

I would have to disagree about fiber optic not being a big deal. It is significantly faster and more reliable than copper cabling, but you need to have the hardware to take advantage of it. Fiber optic is especially advantageous in a business setting.
