We recently went on a trip to Croatia. On the return flight, our names were not on the manifest list, thus resulting in a major delay in first destination. We arrived late and were waitlisted on all future flights. We ended up being in Dulles airport for over 40 hours and then had to take Amtrak back to Syracuse. We feel that we should be reimbursed for our inconvenience and additional expenses incurred. We had trip insurance and were told that it was not covered by them. Shouldn't the travel organization have responsibility under error and omission?
