Is there a source that I can use to veiw generalised real estate taxes per area, My husband refuses to?

Asked by xxo, Pa/NJ and WV Mon Feb 4, 2008

relocate somewhere where the taxes exceed 8000 or so per year. He swears that rumour is that Jersey is about to double if not triple them and is concerned about being taxed out of affording the property later, is there any truth to this?Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Yes there is a source on the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation website, here is the link:
http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/index.html?lpt/taxr…

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me. I cover all of Monmouth and Ocean County and parts of Middlesex County, NJ. Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't comment on the other part of the question, I don't think there is truth to NJ double or tripling the current taxes....they do increase each year though. Thanks.

If you would like to contact me via email, you can do so through Trulia or my website, below. I have a list of the tax rates for Monmouth and Ocean County that I would be happy to share with you either by fax or I'll scan and email it to you. There's also a link on my website that you can click on to be connected to my cell phone.

Hi xxo,

Maybe there is something else about New Jersey that he doesn't like and he's using tax "rumors" as an excuse? There is no plan, or reason, why taxes will double or triple in New Jersey. However, there are plenty of available homes with taxes below $8,000. Contact me on my website and I'll make some suggestions.
