There is a good selection of condos available in Greenbelt now. They are priced from a low of $177K, to an average of $235K to a high of $315. The low and average prices are in communities 20-30 years old. The higher priced ones are in a community of newer (3-5 years old) homes. Condo fees range from $200-$300 a month for 1-2 bedroom models.
Greenbelt is convenient to NASA, DC, Rockville and Silver Spring.

The answer to this questions depends on whether you want a fixer upper or not. I currently have a nice 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo listed in move-in condition for $114,900. There are many others in the same condo community for much less (and in worse condition).

Greenbelt Lake Village (newer condos built in the late 1990s) run a little higher - mid-to-high 100s

I'm not sure why you want a condo versus a townhome, but Montpelier Hills in Laurel has a very low HOA fee. You could spend your money on a home instead of a condo fee. And - YES - I am sellling a townhome in that community.
