Hi Bart,

Thank you for your interest in using Trulia. We are a search engine for residential real estate listings that are indexed from agent/broker web pages. Our service is free, and there is no charge to have listings posted on Trulia. There are two ways to get your listings on Trulia, which I've outlined below.

1. XML Feed. If familiar with XML, you can submit a listing data feed with your listing information

For more detail and example of a data feed:

2. Single Listing Submit. You can manually enter a single listing one at a time

Please access the link below to review your options and to submit your listings via one of the previously mentioned options.

If you wish to have more control over your listings, Trulia offers a premium product called Trulia Pro which allows you to manage all of the data for each of your listings including the links your potential clients are taken to when they click on “View more details” on the listing page, provides featured placement for your listings on the search result page, the ability to send individualized Client Listings Reports to your clients and get featured in our new Quick Connect which can drive you more leads.

I have had great success with for distributing listings. They have a great syndication service that works. Best of all, it is FREE!

You can list a home with one photo for free. If you want it to be a "featured" listing, which more photos and get more search hits, you can pay a fee of $39 a month.

If you click on "My Trulia" and select "My profile", there is a section called "my listings". There, you'll find a place where you can add a listing. It takes a couple days for the home to become active in the site. It seems like I posted my ad on a sunday morning, and it wasn't "live" and viewable to others until Tuesday. You then have to acknowledge the home is still active every couple of weeks so that search only has homes that are still available.
