Ok, I signed up on Point2 last night. Thanks for the tips. I will play with it awhile and let you know how I like it. It was very easy to set up. I need to upload a picture and it did not seem to give that option. I noticed the KW logo where a picture should have been?

Pam, is your secondary Point2 website a free site? I am not 100% sure about this, but I think you need a domain name associated with your website for the google tracking to work. I believe that you may have to have the Professional version to be able to a domain name. I could be way wrong on this. I remember I looked at the google tracking once, but since I just do domain forwarding for my Point2 site, I couldn't use it. Did you check the Point2 website manual?

Hi Jean. Yes, I have the Point2Agent site. I started out with their free site and later upgraded to the Professional version. I like that it will turn the uploaded photos into a virtual tour that you can use for MLS and on Realtor.com if you have a domain name associated with your Point2 website. There are other things I like about it too (e-mail drip campaigns, automatic syndication of listings to several major search engines, easy posting to craigslist...). I know that AgentX also offers a free website. I don't know how it compares to Point 2.

Hi Carrie...This website has so much to offer, even the freebie. A few to mention is when you input your listings it automatically goes out to over 15 internet sites, you are the webmaster if you want to be and can create your own pages and links, the agent has a blog site to create, it automatically creates a virtual tour for you to paste on the mls or another website, you have the opportunity to network with agents all over the United States and other countries similar to what we have here at Trulia. Plus there is much much more! The freebie I believe allows up to 15 pages for you. I upgraded to the Professional version once I realized the benefits. You can go to my website, scroll to the bottom and click on Point2 and sign up. Hope this is helpful!

We have a Broker Point2 Site. I don't personally tend to it, but our office staff is happy with it. From the list provided, we can check off where listings should be uploaded by Point2. To those sites, such as Trulia, or GoogleBase, we prepare our own feeds and do not rely upon Point2. We do get leads from our site on Point2. We don't notice a lot of inquiries that result from the sites we gain as a result of Point2. Although we do not pay for the Point2 site (upgrades are available), it still has time and labor costs to maintain.

Hi Pam,
I do know that other agents have used http://www.sitemeter.com on their websites. There is a free subscription. I have not tried using yet. Hopefully this is helpful.

Jean.....I really like it. I have posted the following post with Trulia but no responses to date. Can you answer this question?

Google Tracking code on a Point2 website -I have a secondary website with Point2agent and attempted to place a Google Tracking Code on my website. I placed it (so I thought) on my home page but it comes back that it was not detected. Any ideas how I can fix this?
