Free MLS lookup by MLS number?

Asked by Russ, 60613 Mon Jan 28, 2008

I'm just looking for a web site that will allow me to lookup properties by MLS ID. I'd prefer to be able to pass in the MLSID on the web address, but if I can get a couple suggestions from the group here, I'll look into that part.

Yes, if you have the MLS number and are in the Chicagoland area as your zip code indicates, you can search for it directly on my website: Just click the "MLS Property Search" tab on the left and use the "Search by MLS number" field.

If you have any questions - please let me know.

Do you know of a site where I can enter a MLS number to see if the property is still for sale?

MLS Search is done on local MLS providers. Mostly they will consist of Realtor listings. You just need to figure out what its called in your area.

Hi Russ,

Trulia now offers a search by MLS number. Just access our homepage and perform a search in the city and state where the property is located. Once your results load on the next page you can type the MLS number into our keyword search filter on the left side of the page.

For more information about our new Keyword option access the link below.

Best Wishes,

Since you were unable to find what you were looking for on Ken's site, you are welcome to try mine as well. Again, you will need to click the tab for property search, however you can enter the MLS number from there. Let me know if you find what you are looking for!

Thanks Ken. Oddly, this didn't bring up the MLSID for the property I'm looking at. The status is ACTV so, I'd expect it to show. I'll try again in a day or two as well. Thanks.
