No - a walk through is done typically the day of closing or night prior. You have a chance to do a final walk through to see the property and make sure that all trash, unwanted items, etc. have been removed from the home. The inspection period is a time when the buyer has the right to perform a home, pest or septic inspection on the property. This is done by a licensed professional and a report is generated. ... more

Al - since you are new to trulia (welcome!) you may not realize that you just answered a 2+ year old question - a relatively simple question that was fully answered in August, 2009 when it was first asked!

The date a question was asked is located in a lite font just under the question, and is easy to miss it if you're not used to looking for it.

In any event - I am sure the original poster is long gone, and no longer paying attention to this forum.
