They are over $100 per month (I live here). You get very little for your money. There is a pool and that's pretty much it. The parks become 3rd world soccer fields on the weekends. BTW, make sure you look at the real estate taxes, they are double what anyone pays in Surprise and again, for no reason. ... more

You could definitely own a second home in Surprise while you lived and worked in New York. There are of course tax implications to this by owning a second home. If you aren't planning on living in it for a few years what is your plan to maintain it and keep it safe until then? Will family live in it? Will it be rented? If the latter, there are tax implications associated with that too. Either way I'm an agent in Surprise and would be happy to help. Just need to clarify a few things to get you started! ... more

Most do and they mostly are three sided. If you have neighbors to the right and left and behind as many homes do, then who does the fence belong to. That would depend on if you know what you want or not. If you're not familiar with the area, you might want to rent for 6 months to a year first. If you've been to the valley several times and are familiar with the area, then purchasing may make the most sense. No one likes to keep moving, especially when it's 110 degrees. ... more

If you are a resident in Sun City, Sun City West or Sun City Grand you have access to park your 5th wheel and store the trailer at the Sun Cities RV Parking.
If not a resident in the above named age restricted communities, there are numerous storage and parking locations around Surprise, covered and uncovered. When not in use, I store my 5th wheel in Surprise. Call/text/email me and I'll provide you with several locations.

If you are referring to the Patagonia model floor plan in Sun City West, yes. The den can be converted to a bedroom and the library can be converted to a bedroom. With two bedroom conversion, the master, guest bedroom and the upstairs bedroom, you'd have five bedrooms. ... more
